Vita’s reformer classes are tough. Their motto is “make every second count” and they really do. They offer classes that revolve on and around a reformer, including ones that incorporate cardio and barre. Fitness Savvy tested out their signature Vita Dynamic class, which is reformer Pilates on steroids. You’ll flow from one difficult move on the reformer into cardio bursts and back, testing your balance, stamina and strength throughout. Our abs were really sore the next day and we didn’t even notice we were using our core the whole time, but you really do.
The main floor is where you’ll find a reception desk and the studio, complete with 8 reformers. Downstairs is the toilet and changing room, equipped with a private shower and dark-wood paneled lockers with keys provided. The shower has shampoo, conditioner and soap and the changing room is stocked with towels, lotion, blow dryers and cotton balls.
Good to Know
Pitchers of cucumber water sit in the studio and downstairs (not ideal for filling up your own bottle, but possible) and there is coconut water for sale, as well as hair ties. There is not a lot of space outside the studio upstairs, so I’d suggest chilling on the benches in the changing room while you wait for the class before yours to finish up. The reception desk has small sweat towels for you and the shower towels are already in the locker room.
