Note: This post is based off of classes held at the City location, but Bootcamp Pilates also has studios in Notting Hill, Fulham and Richmond.
Bootcamp Pilates offers traditional Pilates reformer classes that will challenge your muscles and put your body to work. The reformers have all the traditional bells and whistles and you’ll plank, slide and pull yourself in all different directions. There are so many different exercises to do on a reformer, no two classes are the same, but expect to quiver and sweat while doing 55 minutes of single-leg, core and upper body work.
The City studio is located in a basement space, with a reception area, main reformer room, and a locker room. There is also a smaller room used for barre, TRX and HIIT classes, which are only offered at this location. You have to walk through the reformer area to get to the locker room. There, you’ll find a couple of private showers, a toilet and space for changing and primping. It’s not the prettiest space out there, but it’s got all the basics.
Good to Know
Towels are free and there is a water cooler in the reformer room. There is a coat rack in the locker room, but no lockers, so you can keep your stuff next to your reformer.
